Tutaev, the Yaroslavl Region

Tutaev is the oldest city in the Yaroslavl region. It was called Romanov-Borisoglebsk until 1918. Population is 40 000 people. Forming enterprise - Tutaev motor plant - produces diesel engines and gearbox. Now the company employs less than 2000 people. Tutaev is included in the Golden Ring of Russia. The city is called "The Pearl of the Volga” for the beauty of landscapes and several churches with preserved frescoes.
